Because my birthday falls at the end of the year, this is a list of things I want to accomplish before I turn 26 and in the year 2009.
1) Follow the Join the Journey Bible reading plan
2) Watch my sis get married on April 4!
3) Give an anonymous gift
4) Renew my driver's license so I don't have one of those pesky "Under 18" IDs anymore
5) Read Team of Rivals, the Abe Lincoln biography I received for Christmas
6) Learn to knit - complete at least one scarf and then actually wear it
7) Use my china for the first time
8) Collect all of my Granny's Christmas treat recipes
9) Take my twin nephews out for a day with just me and Uncle Hubster
10) Watch the 4th of July fireworks show in Washington, DC
11) See a show at the Dallas Summer Musicals
12) Learn and memorize at least one new piano piece
13) Take an easy weekend getaway with Hubster
14) Write more handwritten notes and letters
15) Use coupons at the grocery store
16) Spend a relaxing and girlie day with Mom, Sis, and Sis-in-Law
17) Welcome two new babies into the world (not my babies, just friends' babies)
18) Finish decorating guest room with a travel theme
19) Cook at least one new recipe per month - maybe even try to create my own recipe
20) Save my salary and live only on Hubster's salary
21) Invite someone to dinner that I would normally be too shy to invite
22) Host a casual brunch for my girlfriends
23) Open a library card
24) Spend a day volunteering with a church-related charity drive or organization
25) Create new design for this blog
What would be on your mini-bucket list?

I love your list. I'm going to have to think about mine for a while and then post it. I think this is such a great idea!
i really want to try to live on my husband's salary alone and see how it goes. i also have a huge list of books i want to read.
GREAT list! i am with you on the living on one person's salary. we basically do that now except my salary goes into my graduate student loans...SMU grad school is EXPENSIVE!!!
Ohh, I love your list!!
I want to finish fixing up our house, relax more, host more dinner parties, be more outgoing, donate more of my time and save more $$
Thanks chicas! It was fun coming up with the list. And I think most everything is fairly manageable. Hubster and I have been trying to live on only his salary for about a year, but we haven't quite succeeded yet. BEB, please share your reading list...I am looking for some new books!
This is such a great list. We are really trying hard to live on one salary and save the other, but it takes a lot of work!!!
I have my 30 before 30 list all laid out...come over and check it out!
I love your list, it really is fun to do. I have 7 months and 16 items left...EEK!
